Neighbourhood guide

                                                 Toorak

         Toorak Central
The opening of Toorak Central in an historic part of Suva has
bought fresh attention to the changing neighbourhood. Once
known as the place to procure after-midnight longnecks and
steak and egg (or curry and cassava) fry-ups from the infa-
mous Sunia Cama’s, it is now attracting a new style of retailer.
Bordered by the Colonial War Memorial Hospital and home to
some of Suva’s most important houses of worship, here are
         some local highlights.

          Toorak Central
Toorak Central offers modern short-term accommodation in
stylish studio and one-bedroom apartments. The complex also
houses Élevé, a pocket-sized café and pizzeria, and Urban
Bliss Spa. Soon to open, a champagne and whisky bar, Prive.
