“As a business that began with handicrafts more
than five decades ago, it gives us great pride to see
these spaces thriving at the heart of our flagship
store. These initiatives empower local artists,
provide tourists with an authentic cultural
experience, and ensure that Fiji’s creative heritage
continues to inspire future generations.” -
Nikul Khatri, Director of Jack’s of Fiji.
Nestled in the heart of Nadi, Jack’s of Fiji’s Flagship Store now o ers visitors more than just a retail experience.
With the opening of the Heritage Wing and the Gallery of Fijian Art & Design, travelers can immerse them-
selves in the beauty, craftsmanship, and rich cultural heritage of Fiji – all under one roof. The Heritage Wing,
established in 1969 as a small handicraft store, has evolved into a vibrant space that honors traditional Fijian
artistry. From wood carvings to handwoven crafts, it provides a tangible connection to the Islands’ history and
creative spirit.
Adjacent to the Heritage Wing, the Gallery of Fijian Art & Design showcases an extraordinary array of local
talent. Visitors can admire paintings, pen and ink with acrylic on Masi, oil on canvas, acrylic on tapa, cement
and sand sculptures, pyrography, copper handcraft, and hand-blown glass. Each piece tells a story, reflecting
Fiji’s diverse visual culture while o ering a contemporary perspective on traditional art forms. Both spaces
are designed as a unique cultural activity for visitors in Nadi, allowing tourists to experience, appreciate, and
engage with Fiji’s artistry in a meaningful way. Whether browsing the Heritage Wing or exploring the Gallery,
every visitor leaves with a deeper connection to Fiji’s culture and creativity.
Experience the fusion of tradition and innovation at Jack’s of Fiji Nadi Flagship – where culture, art, and community
