U.S. Ambassador to Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Tonga and Tuvalu Marie Damour will open the AWE Annual Market Day at UN Park, Suva (next to the Carnegie Suva Library and Suva’s Olympic Pool.)
Since 2020, the U.S. Embassy has partnered with the Women Entrepreneurs Business Council (WEBC) and the Makoi Women’s Vocational Centre (MWVC) to implement the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) program. Every December, WEBC holds an annual AWE Market Day to provide AWE participants with an opportunity to practice their entrepreneurial skills by marketing their goods and services and interacting with customers to expand their markets and customer network
