WHAT’S NEW
Surf’s Up
The elite World Surf League (WSL) Championship
Tour is back. The grand event will see the top
surfers return to Cloudbreak, a well-known spot
for perfect waves near Tavarua Island. It will be
the last event to help decide the WSL Final 5,
ahead of the one-day WSL Finals to decide the
2024 World Champions.
Kava Time
Labasa Town’s first-ever upmarket kava bar, Natua Niqona
Chino, has opened at Damodar City Labasa Center. Run
by businessman Bobby Khan, it offers a space for people
from all walks of life to unwind over the traditional drink. In
Navua, the newly-opened K.Bali Kava Bar & Dhaba, located
along the Queens Highway, provides a similar experience,
plus some great fried chicken and chips deals which you can
take for the road.
Honey at
InterContinental
Guests at the InterContinental Fiji
Golf Resort & Spa at Natadola
can indulge in pure local honey
after the resort installed ten
sustainably managed beehives in
its gardens in May. The initiative
provides a unique experience for
guests to savour the delicious
condiment during breakfast, as
well as treat their skin with the
resort's signature honey spa
treatment.
