PROUDLY SHARING
THE FIJIAN SPIRIT
Sneak peek: Deuba Arts Village
Long time visitors to Fiji and many locals will remember when the iconic Dance Theatre of Fiji, led by cultural icon Manoa
Rasigatale in the late 1970s and 80s, performed regularly at the Arts Village in Pacific Habour.
Investors are hoping for a return to those days, with the newly revitalised arts village expected to open this year, with vibrant
features and traditional worksmanship already visible.
The Damodar Group is working with the Yatu Lau Company to revitalise the cultural, tourism and entertainment hub, which was
one of Fiji’s most important attractions in its heyday.
The new development will be designed to attract both local and international visitors.
