The French Embassy is proud to host the “Can Fijian Traditions Serve as Modern Solutions for Ocean Conservation?”. Join youths, researchers, government ministries, NGOs, and other stakeholders to discuss on integrating traditional wisdom with modern conservation practices.
The first event, scheduled for May 3rd, will bring together 10 to 15 students from Jai Narayan College, Suva, at the Fiji Museum, while the main event is set for May 7th at the Fiji Museum.
The event will explore the role of traditional knowledge in conserving ocean resources and highlight how Fijian traditions and customs can inspire innovative conservation strategies.
