A new grab-and-go cafe, Mana Coffee, has opened on the ground floor of ANZ House at the capital’s bustling Victoria Parade, targeting busy working professionals in downtown Suva.
“We’re thrilled to now be located in the heart of Suva, where the coffee culture is truly alive,” Mue Bentley Fisher, Co-Director of Mana Coffee said.
The coffee shop was first established in 2020. “We look forward to offering customers in the area our signature locally-roasted house blend, supplied by South Pacific Coffee Company (SPCC), cold drinks and quick and easy meals.”
Fisher added that local partnerships remained central to Mana Coffee’s business model and strategy.
“Our approach remains to support locally-made, authentically Fijian products, that while embracing the international cafe culture, are considerate towards tastes and ingredients that are closer to home.”
For instance, Fisher explained, the new cafe now offers Suva’s first Nitro Cold Brew coffee on tap, only available at Mana Coffee’s ANZ House outlet.
“SPCC cold brew coffee is made from 100% wild Fijian grown coffee beans,” Mike Dennis, founder and owner of SPCC said. “Our beans are dried, processed, roasted and brewed at SPCC in Nadi and 100% Fijian made.”
“We offer a range of healthy cold drink options, such as Food Culture Fiji’s healthy detox juice, filled with nutrients from local moca (spinach), turmeric, ginger, pineapple and banana,” Fisher says. “Our fruit slushies are also made from 100% seasonal local fruit pulp, including mango, watermelon and soursop, supplied by Icefruit Fiji, based in Nadi and newly opened at Damodar City in Suva, featuring their amazing locally-made gelatos – highly recommended.”
